Week 7’s tip is all about giving yourself grace with your family photography session. Mama, you need grace, your spouse needs grace, and your children most definitely need grace before, during and after the session! Before you dive in, don’t forget to catch up on weeks 1-6 below!

Tip #7: Give yourself some grace
This tip is for all the moms reading this. Give yourself, your spouse, and your kids some grace. You and your spouse may be exhausted from the workday. Your child may or may not have a meltdown for no reason. It may be too hot or cold outside. You may arrive late to your session because of traffic. Life is insane and does not always go as planned. Sometimes you won’t get those “Pinterest Perfect” photos you have been dreaming of, but you will get some fairly raw and real photos of your crazy crew that you will love in the years ahead. Who knows? You may get a mix of “Pinterest” meets crazy photos, but in the end, you’re going to sit back and laugh at the outtakes and maybe even cherish those the most! Have fun and enjoy this wild ride called parenthood because it only lasts a limited time!

Listening to her has helped give me a realistic perspective on what Motherhood can look like as I juggle life around.
