A huge congratulations to Will and Emily! They welcomed their firstborn, Caroline, to the world this August. I had the extreme honor of coming to their home and capturing their Franklin TN newborn session. Will and Emily are just over the moon in love with their little girl so this was seriously a dream to capture. Caroline has the cutest nursery so we spent most of our session there. It’s adorable and full of the sweetest handpicked details. It’s obvious that Will and Emily took their time creating Caroline’s space.
Before the session, Emily opted to have her hair and makeup done by Kathryn Coursey who is amazing! Kathryn absolutely loves styling mamas before newborn and family sessions. She takes so much care in helping these incredible women feel and look amazing! While Emily was getting pampered by Kathryn, Will kept commenting on how gorgeous she was and how much he loved her hair. It was the sweetest thing in the world to watch him just admire his wife!!!
Once she was ready, we jumped into their session. Emily’s mom was visiting too, so we were even able to capture some portraits of her and her grandbaby! She’s definitely a proud grandma (as she should be!). I love when grandparents are around for family and newborn sessions. It’s always the perfect opportunity to capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments between grandparents and their grandkids. Caroline was an angel and snuggled with her parents and her grandma the entire session. I absolutely loved working with them all and I hope you enjoy a little look into their Franklin newborn photos!
