Lavender Field Portraits

Earlier this summer, sweet Kinley Rose (who was recently featured for her 6-month portrait session in The Nashville Baby Guide), celebrated her 1 year birthday and her mother (Kaitlin) wanted to commemorate this day by taking her “big” girl to a lavender field for a creative and unique mini portrait session. For Kinley’s actual birthday celebration, Kaitlin hosted a “sweet-as-a-peach” tea party and these lavender portraits were a great addition to the theme of the party as well!

If you all haven’t been to Menkveld farms yet, you should make a mini day trip out to this family-owned and operated farm which sits just outside of Nolensville and has a relaxing aroma-filled field of lavender, and even a small sunflower field as well! It is a quaint setting for some family-related portraits, and if you are not wanting portraits that’s okay too, you should still go and explore a new area outside of Nashville.
