Maternity & Family Session At Harlinsdale Farms in Franklin, TN with Nashville and Franklin family photographer Dolly DeLong Photography

Caleb and Ruchala are welcoming a baby girl to their family this fall, and I got to shoot their milestone maternity session in Franklin, TN! Griffin, their very expressive two-year-old son, stole the show with his humor. (I’m not going to lie; I did not understand a word he said, but whatever he said was adorable, so it was very hard not to laugh!) I have known Griffin since he was a baby, and as with many of my other clients who have children, I have enjoyed watching him grow into toddlerhood. I’m also excited because my son is due a month after Ruchala’s baby girl, so I am hoping they will be good friends! Caleb, Ruchala, and Griffin, you all were a joy to work with. I am very excited to watch your family grow in the year ahead. I hope you enjoy several of my favorites from your family session!

One of my favorite photos captured from this session!   This was taken right before Griffin decided to kick his mom in the neck. Griffin enjoyed sharing his sugar cookie with both mom and dad. What a sweetheart!  Sugar cookies + Griffin  The sweetest swinging family! I love the playful mood captured in this photo. This photo reminds me of Magnolia Market, mostly because of the white wall. Some of my favorite photos from this session are of Griffin pointing to the sky. His expressions are priceless! It took everything in me not to post all of those photos. Pointing at a plane!  That golden hour though!  I am totally digging the black and white photo of Ruchala!  Beauty. Ruchala, you are truly a hott mama!  Time with dad is always the best time spent. A secret trick to getting your child to smile: swing them around. That is a guaranteed way of making them crack at least a teeny tiny smile! (But don’t do that if that makes them sick. I am not a promotor of making your child sick!)  He loves pointing out all the trees, planes, and clouds. Griffin just learned the alphabet and was showing us all the letters he knows! How adorable!  The end!
