Dolly DeLong Photography: Joshi Family India themed + formal themed portraits in Nashville and Franklin, Tennessee (2 parts)

In honor of Diwali, I wanted to share the Joshi family portraits with you all today! Working with the Joshi family was an absolute blast because I have gotten to know Hitanshu (the father) through my husband (Ty) because they work together and overall, they are such a joy to be around (and so funny too)! When we were planning their family portrait session, I was working with Jigna (Hitanshu’s wife) on the session details, and she threw out the idea of having two different types of sessions (one traditional Indian, and one formal). I am so happy she came up with this idea because of how bright, vibrant and fun the photos turned out!  (PLUS BONUS: their children in their specific outfits definitely made these sessions even more precious because let’s all admit it, children wearing mini versions of tuxedos and traditional Indian clothing is too cute)! Here are a few of my favorite photos from both of their family sessions.
