Today’s business spotlight features Davey & Krista who serve as a custom brand and website team for creative professionals who want to build a brand that books. They design on both the Showit and WordPress website platforms. I am so excited to get to feature them today because they have not only designed my website, but they have also impacted my small business by encouraging me to take more positive steps in building a professional and consistent brand.
I am SO happy for you all to “meet” them. I believe they have some valuable tools and resources which could potentially impact and help move the needle of your small business! Please scroll down to read the interview AND to check out their amazing resources! Let’s dive into today’s feature!
Well, we do business as Davey & Krista and we specialize in serving creative businesses, but we’ve worked with everyone from shop owners to orthodontists to builders.

We’re based out of Annapolis, Maryland but we serve clients all over the world!
After building a successful photography business and launching the Rising Tide Society, one of the largest communities for creatives in the world, we decided to make helping creatives build brands that book our full-time gig.
We focus on creating brands that encourage action. Because at the end of the day that’s what a great brand does. It encourages people to take action so they can experience the transformation that your company offers.
We believe in chasing hard after an intentional life—one that includes fulfilling work, palm trees and blue skies, time with our son, Jack, and—of course—wine and pizza.
Oh gosh, I have SO many! Last year at Showit’s United Conference Davey gave a talk that breaks down the only two questions you need to answer to win business. It’s about a 30-minute talk you could listen to (or watch) and I highly recommend it because as far as a website goes, it’s eye-opening! You can listen here: https://daveyandkrista.com/two-questions-website/
If you want the TLDR (too lazy didn’t read) version, your website isn’t about you. It’s about showing people that you’re good at what you do and using your website to communicate that you can do for them what they see on your site. People only care about you so long as you can give them what they need. If that’s confusing, watch the video!
Again I am SO excited to have gotten to start off May by introducing you all to this talented couple! If you are in the midst of wanting to either redesign your own website, you need help building the message behind your brand, or you are just looking for resources for your business please check out Davey & Krista today! You will not regret it!
I hope this was helpful to you! Thank you for reading!
